Kithri, known among her people as a Kith'rak, a commander of elite Githyanki knights, is a warrior forged on the Astral Plane, where survival is doctrine and loyalty is absolute. Her blade, the Astral Razor, has carved its name across battlefields most mortals will never see. Her rank among the Githyanki places her within striking distance of the lich-queen Vlaakith herself, one of the most feared rulers in all the known planes.

So what is she doing riding with a ragtag group of adventurers on the Material Plane?

That's the question nobody in The Company has been able to answer, and Kithri isn't offering one. Quiet, watchful, and devastatingly efficient in combat, she keeps her own counsel and lets her greatsword speak when words won't. She prefers books to banter and solitude to socializing, though those who've fought beside her know that when things go wrong, Kithri is the first to stand and the last to leave.

Her most striking companion isn't a person at all. Drageildøyne, a red dragon bonded to Kithri through centuries of shared battle, answers her call when the skies demand it, making The Commander one of the only dragonriders currently operating in Aethoria. It's a partnership that turns heads, raises questions, and makes powerful people very, very nervous.

As events in Drakestide Cove pull the party deeper into a web of secret orders, ancient conspiracies, and draconic power plays, Kithri seems to know more than she lets on. Her connections run deeper than anyone suspects, and her reasons for being here may not be what they appear. Whether she's an ally to the end or something far more complicated, one thing is certain: The Commander always has a plan.
